Make Local
Data-blocks in Treezy are linked to the library when you place a tree, conserving memory but restricting user modifications. By clicking Make Local
, you can break these links and include the meshes and materials of the selected trees directly into the current Blender file, granting you the freedom to make changes and edits as needed.
The Remove Duplicates
option on the right side of the panel allows the Make Local
feature to assign existing materials from the Blender file to the object based on their names if they already exist. This ensures that duplicated materials are efficiently managed, preventing unnecessary material duplication

Convert to Static Mesh
Treezy introduces an advanced particle system for leaves, flowers, seeds, and more. While instances conserve memory in most cases, they can impact processing in certain situations.
By clicking the Convert to Static Mesh
button, dynamically distributed particles and their materials seamlessly merge into the tree mesh, becoming an integral part of its form. This reduces processing overhead while still allowing animation for static trees, though with limited particle movement.
Randomize/Reset Transform
Add natural variation to your trees by randomizing scale and rotation for a more organic and realistic placement with the Randomize Transform
button. Hit the Reset Transform
button to restore your trees to their original placement.
